The first international conference on nanotechnology was held at the Cornitba Hotel in Tripoli, organized by the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, and concluded on Wednesday, 12/13/2023. The conference witnessed a large and effective presence from various universities and research centers in Libya, and various research on nanotechnology in the fields of industry, medicine and agriculture was presented. Although it was the first attempt to organize such a conference, it was effective and a successful start that may open the door to holding similar important forums in the future. The Advanced Libyan Center for Chemical Analysis made its contribution by presenting two research papers at the conference, presented by Professor Mahasin Al-Khabbat and Dr. Naji Quraish. . The center’s information office was also present to cover the event, represented by the brilliant professor (Hassan bin Abdullah). To be honest, great efforts were made by the committees participating in the conference, especially the Scientific Committee and the Supreme Committee headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Dubaie.
